Global Challenge UK can deliver challenge events in a variety of
formats, including bespoke events for specific organisations and communications support. Some of the
more typical events are described below. These are tried and tested formats
that can be marketed easily by charities and offer excellent fundraising
opportunities.
3 Mountain Events
Global Challenge UK's 3 mountain events offer an exciting
opportunity for participants to climb 3 mountains across the UK within a
24-hour time window, including the driving!
Multi-Peak Ridge walks
An alternative to the 3 Peak formula, and possibly more demanding,
is the multi peak event based over 24 hours. These are based in one area, the
Lake District or Snowdonia for example, and entail participating teams taking
in a number of peaks in a 24-hour period.
Multi-Activity events Multi-activity events are great fun and
an excellent alternative to traditional Mountain style events. A typical event
would see teams participating in hill walking, canoeing, cycling, orienteering
or raft building for example all on the same day!
Urban Events
An exciting new format of challenge event offered by Global Challenge UK is one that
can take place in an urban environment. If participating teams can't travel to the great
outdoors we'll take the great outdoors to them!
Communications Support
If you have Event Management covered for your event Global Challenge UK can offer
specialist communications support which would provide you with a safety radio network and fully qualified radio operators ensuring the safety of your event!
